Thanks for the report. would help if we can have a codesandbox with a repro of this. Seems like a similar issue has been reported at #28 and the solution for now is the same, just specify virtualizeColumns=false (see https://reactdatagrid.io/docs/api-reference#props-virtualizeColumns)
It's because by default, starting at 14, which is the virtualizeColumnsThreshold, columns are being virtualized, but seems like we have a bug in horizontal virtualization, which we're working on to come up with a fix.
