Error when running "npm run start" about plutus-pioneer-program HOT 4 CLOSED

It somehow looks like you did a "sudo" install of nix itself.
You might end up fighting it a lot.

If you are just after the Playground, I would advise you to look into the Docker Images for them at this specific point.

Everything is split by weeks, and compared to a regular nix install it takes b/w 8GB and 12GB of storage

To get back to your problem, it is indeed permissions (it looks) of the /nix volume

Does the "sudo" install nix mess things up? Would you recommend I just remove nix and reinstall it again?
Thanks for the Docker suggestion, I'll definitely look into that.

In terms of permissions, I did a "chmod 777" to remove all permission of folders that I could possibly need.

I am just not sure what the "No space left on device" means. I checked my Linux storage and I shows I still have like ~20GBs of free space.
Lars recommended that I increase my tmp folder. I tried that as well to no avail.

If you haven't solved this did you run npm run start in a nix-shell? I got the exact same error because I didn't run it in a nix-shell
