That option no longer exists and gcalcli ALWAYS uses https now. Use the latest code from git.

Ok, excellent. I'll look for the next point release and get it into FreeBSD's ports ASAP

Why not have the port install from git? Or do you need a release for
pkg_add?

packages/ports have to have versions that increment. I don't want to just make up versions and then potentially conflict with you in the future if you start doing versioned releases again. If you could tag commits with a version increment when you feel it's worthy that would be greatly appreciated.
