Delivery Notes Module about invoiceninja HOT 4 OPEN

we are getting ready for our template engine to be released, this won't be needed then as you'll be able to generate delivery notes directly from the invoice itself.

With the current version, we can generate delivery notes from the invoice itself, but there are two problems:

1. The delivery notes do not have a price (sometimes we need to include a price and sometimes not).
2. It is generated only with the invoice (sometimes we need to edit a delivery notes without creating an invoice).
   So it is better to add it as a Module

I believe that your already able to achieve this with the Invoice-module:
First make your Invoice-module into a "Order-module" by change the assigning of Invoice Number:
Generated Numbers > Generate Number > (change from When Saved to When Sent)

Then your able to create orders (Invoice) and keep it in status "draft", and make the Delivery note then when it is ready to invoicing then change status to "sent".

Your need for "Delivery note" to be with and without prices sometime is possible with the new report design where you just make 2 custom designs, one with and another without prices.

Then changing "Design" on the Order (Invoice) edit down in the "Settings" in the bottom section

Thank you for the suggestion! That's a great idea, but it might be preferable to have it as a separate standalone module for statistics and customer situations to avoid any hassle when trying to look up any specific situations.
