Hey there, this doesn't appear to be an Ionic bug. Ionic has a peer dependency for Angular 14 and newer, so it supports Angular 14, 15, 16, and 17. Angular 17 support was added to Ionic in v7.5.4 though the peerDependency requirement did not change.
The version of Angular that is installed is determined by what is in your application's package.json. @seamfix/sfx-esim does not seem to be public as I cannot find the repo for it, but it looks like that only supports Angular 16. The maintainer of @seamfix/sfx-esim should either add support for Angular 17, or you should update your package.json to only install Angular 16.
