Add Xcode 4.4 support (Mountain Lion and Lion only) about ios-sim HOT 11 CLOSED

confirmed:

The base SDK was set to 10.6, I've set it to "Latest Base SDK".

I've pushed 1.5 to homebrew - waiting for them to update. Homebrew/legacy-homebrew#13783

Version 1.5 is now live. Do a brew upgrade ios-sim

Ive been experiencing the same issue here. I had an old version of xcode, just upgraded. Then i tried to reinstall ios-sim and i get the same error during the rake step.

When i try upgrade, its not installed so there isnt much i can do..

Is there something people need to do to after upgrading or something to get the latest version?

Try brew update then brew install ios-sim.
It definitely works, we just have to fix your brew settings probably. If not delete ios-sim and re-install using brew

try brew uninstall ios-sim then brew install ios-sim

Everything just freshly installed, Lion, Xcode, phonegap and homebrew.

When running brew install ios-sim I get the message
Error: Failed executing: rake install prefix=/usr/local/Cellar/ios-sim/1.5 (ios-sim.rb:9)

Can't upgrade, can't uninstall. Trying to do so renders the error message: ios-sim not installed

The fix for this issue prevents ios-sim from running on Lion; macosx now resolves to 10.8 which causes the minimum target platform to also be OSX 10.8. #30 (comment) has more details.
