1.7 not compiling about ios-sim HOT 6 CLOSED

There is no error, only xrun bringing the cpu to 100% and staying there...

aha that's probably it -- switch your command line tools to the Xcode 4 tools (most likely its using the Xcode 5 cli tools). In Terminal.app type in:

xcode-select --print-path

Do a "xcode-select --switch" to the appropriate location. Most likely it's because ios-sim is not compatible with the new Xcode 5 frameworks (yet), besides in Xcode 5 you don't need ios-sim anymore.
