I am not in favor of combining all ABIs, but maybe a configuration option like this would work:

composites: [
  {
    inputs: ['facets/*],
    output: 'MyDiamond',
  }
],

Yes but hardhat-abi-exporter is much more flexible and feature-rich.
Also hardhat-diamond-abi has a known issue
