Actually audioserve is mostly about streaming, not about managing library. If fact it just serves the library in the way in which it's organized on disk - and that was my primary goal - to see directory structure and do not care about metadata tags, as they are chaotic for audiobooks (at least those I had).
So you see what you have on disk. It's up to you how you organize it. You can use soft links to have some lists, shelves, but this is done outside of audioserve.
In android client you can preload whole audiobook / folder so you do not necessarily need to stream. Also you can create bookmarks there (but only local to android client) - which can work as currently reading.
As per now there are no plan for more advanced organization of audiobooks, this will require database and primary intent was to create solution not using database, just filesystem.
