Your comment sent me in the right direction.
I could access the flaresplver page from the browser but a wget did not connect.
I figured it out now and have it working.

The solution was using the Docker bridge IP address instead of the hosts lan IP address for the flaresolver config in Jackett.

Can you access the 1337x domains in browser from the same public IP address and using the same DNS (ideally also on the same device)?

Can you access http://192.168.2.5:8191/ in browser from the same device?

Do the FlareSolverr logs show anything?

Are you using a VPN or proxy?

Hi I tried the troubleshooting options before opening the issue ;-)

I can open the site in the browser on Windows.
The jacket installation is on a Synology that uses a vpn but I also tried with von disabled to have the same connection as the browser.

I think Flaresolver is fine (I get an errror if I change the above address to a wrong port number).
Also the Flaresolver log does not really show anything worthwhile. It has however no info about the test of the connection but I dont know if it should.

on the machine that is running the docker Jackett and Flaresolverr images, start a browser and test that when you use the address http://192.168.2.5:8191/ you get back something like

{"msg": "FlareSolverr is ready!", "version": "3.3.13", "userAgent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/115.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"}

this will help confirm that the jackett image can also talk to your flaresolverr.
