The GitHub action currently used for CI is depreciated and will be unavailable after 12/31/19. The officially supported action is @GoogleCloudPlatform/github-actions.

AsI mentioned earlier, GitHub actually includes the Google Cloud SDK (gcloud) in the environment (at least the Ubuntu ones) by default. It should be possible to authenticate it and then delete credentials afterwards, avoiding the need to download the SDK.

The GitHub action linked above is for the environments that don’t include (namely, the two Windows and the Mac environments).
