Sorry, i did not think anybody would use this tool but here you go:

1. Download zip archive from release page.
2. Extract the archive.
3. Add link to executable (redmine-notifier.exe) to your startup folder (e.g. C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup).
4. Run executable
5. Open application from tray icon
6. Provide url and API key to the application.

To make it work your redmine server needs the json Rest API to be enabled.

You first need to enable REST and JSONP API in your Redmine server:

Administration -> Settings -> API

After you enabled the API you can copy the API key from your account:

Now you need to enter the url and your API key into the notifier:

You should now receive notifications when another user creates an issue. If you create an issue yourself the notifier won't create a notification.

In case i does not work there is a log.txt file in the same directory as the redmine-notifier.exe which might help to debug the issue.

I guess i can add a notification when a issue is changed. What use case would you have for changing the issue status? I can imagine a button on the notification assigning the issue to oneself.
