In this practice project, I created a simple app that fetches and retrieves data from the Breaking Bad API. You can view character information, see popular quotes from the series, and look up character deaths. This application uses Express.js to establish the server, Handlebars as the view engine, and Axios to run the core GET requests.
For this project, I followed along with Traversy Media's 3-part Sequelize tutorial on Youtube. While the project and code is not necessarily my own creation, the tutorial helped me digest and hone some of the fundamental skills that I have been learning in my coding bootcamp up to this point, specifically regarding Express.js, Sequelize, and Handlebars.
