How did you "set the maplocalleader"? Did you put in your vimrc:
let maplocalleader = ","
from vim-r-plugin.
I replied by mail; doesn't seemed to have worked.
I still struggle with changing the maplocalleader
.
Yes I set in my vimrc
:
let g:maplocalleader = ","
Then opening a new buffers with :e
or :tabnew
leads to change the
maplocalleader
to ''.
:echo maplocalleader
\
If I then set interactively
:let maplocalleader = ","
I still couldn't use it; instead "" works.
from vim-r-plugin.
The plugin never sets the value of maplocalleader. It only reads it to add the shortcuts to R's menu in GVim. It seems that you have an autocommand setting the localleader back to ''. This autocommand may be in your .vimrc or in your .vim directory. Use grep to try to find it. For example, go to .vim directory and do in the terminal emulator:
grep -R maplocalleader *
from vim-r-plugin.
Yes that was it -- an unused autoloaded vim-script; thanks a lot for the hint.
I haven't found any other bugs so far -- but I let you know if I do.
Thanks for the fabulous software.
