Yes, i installed a newer version of the plugin recently and it works again.

Have been trying to run the default.py of the plugin to see more, but it's giving me "cannot import xbmcvs". So am unable to continue testing.

see if it still happens. youtube made a change and anxdpanic fixed it. Try and see if you can get the video to play.

This morning it was still problematic on release 5.x.8.. do I have update to the last Github version and try again

The last version which includes the youtube DRM changes was implemented yesterday evening. We did not do a version bump.
