Also having the same issues. Finding 'links' to files but 0 file size and when I download I get a 403 forbidden error inside the file (using a text editor to open).

So nothing has changed - if it isn't working for you (it works fine for me on my install) there are a number of things which could be the problem.
Have you enabled debugging issue? What does it show? Where do you have it installed and what videos are you trying to download?
Does your server show anything in the PHP error log?
Does your server support IPv6 or only IPv4? Are you using the proxy links or direct links?

Solved my problem. Was simply the video. Video in question was a music video from an official channel.
