Thanks for the bug report, @qianalan . I've never experimented with concurrent builds. Will read up on the threading architecture of Jenkins and look into this. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the tip, @JonMR - really should have released your contribution. It did solve the same problem for you, didn't it?
I'd like to understand how it did, though. The Jenkins JavaDoc on BuildStepMonitor is not very helpful, unfortunately. Can you point me to a good explanation of how exactly the synchronisation strategies work (NONE, STEP, BUILD)? That would be much appreciated.
In the meantime, I'll make a development snapshot available to you @qianalan for testing.
