This repository contains the code for a client application that connects to a DICT.org server.
This program performs a lookup for a DNS server if its IPv4 address was not found previously (in cache). If one nameserver doesn't give a result, we try another equivalent nameserver. Lookups to a non-existent address (eg. blueberry.ubc.ca) queries the address to all name servers that handles ubc.ca.

The Web Application reference architecture is a general-purpose, event-driven, web application back-end that uses AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway for its business logic. It also uses Amazon DynamoDB as its database and Amazon Cognito for user management. All static content is hosted using AWS Amplify Console.
