I think your first option is the best and most useful. If someone wants to create a simple gate on/off sequence (like for drums for example ) they can ctrl+click where they want gates and easily turn everything else off. There is already an inverse button and the inverse output and I think a ctrl+click inverse would be more confusing.

The more I think the more I prefer inversing the item clicked...
(I mean 5% -> 95% -> 5% instead of my original suggestion of 5% -> 100% -> 0% -> 100%.)
