There was a small issue with everything being set to be a template function/method. This has been solved. But I don't think it really affected this. I added your patch to the example. When generating docs, templates seem to be documented fine.

I'm afraid this is still not working for me, could it be that I don't have the latest version?
I've installed cldoc using pip instead of building from source as I don't have time to do so, to be sure that the package wasn't updated correctly I uninstalled it and installed again but to no avail.

This is possible, I don't release all the time. Note that "building from source" is just a matter of cloning the repo and typing 'make install'. There isn't really any time involved :)

Can you try with the latest release, 1.6?

Apologies for not doing this sooner, firstly building from source does fix my issue so thanks for that :D

I do think that since this is a significant feature it would be worth updating the pip install though for ease of use (and keeping a clean OS install for non nodejs & ruby devs) but I can understand you wanting to verify the fix.

I did however have some trouble with the build dependencies on Linux Mint 17/Ubuntu 14.04.

  1. Its not obvious (for non-nodejs users like myself) on the getting started page that this relies on nodejs being install.
  2. The default nodejs package on Linux Mint 17/Ubuntu 14.04 installs an executable nodejs, npm expects an executable called node so I had to install the nodejs-legacy package instead to fix this issue.
  3. As 1. but instead for ruby.

Some additional instructions for these points would be helpful.
