We also had the same problem and returned to JHipster 7.9.4, as we couldn't resolve it by changing the dependency versions.
There is definitely a huge Problem with JHipster 8 and Docker

Actually, I have no idea how to solve this I tried so many things and even reinstalled the OS and Java and hipster and docker and everything and nothing worked for me!
