Note that in Python 3 you need to import BytesIO
from the io
library, so the example above should be written as:
from io import BytesIO
from pydub import AudioSegment
import requests
res = requests.get("http://bizvsdev.s3.amazonaws.com/Ep13.mp3")
podcast = AudioSegment.from_file(BytesIO(res.content), "mp3")
from pydub.
I think that's kind of outside the scope of pydub... My advice would be to use pydub in conjunction with python requests like so:
from StringIO import StringIO
from pydub import AudioSegment
import requests
res = requests.get("http://bizvsdev.s3.amazonaws.com/Ep13.mp3")
podcast = AudioSegment.from_file(StringIO(res.content), "mp3")
from pydub.
Thanks @hay that helped.

Ok, that seems like a good solution. Thanks.
