Development ongoing
- Works: Detecting connection lost and reconnecting when connected to localhost
- Works: Detecting connection lost and reconnecting when connected to the remote PLC using remote router (not local)
Problems: When connected to the remote PLC through local router (standard way), there is no way to detect a connection loss from signals or sockets.
Only way seems to be a poller that checks if remote system is up and running. So the plan is:
- Poll symbol version OR system manager state every 1 second
- If reading fails twice (or something), connection is lost
- Run same routines as with other connection loss scenarios
from ads-client.
