I addressed this in issue #21.
But the summary is... This is primarily a JavaScript project - even though it's closely related to Laravel - and the tiny bit of PHP that's included is just syntactic sugar - you can easily replicate the behavior with the Laravel form builder methods.
If you would like to submit a pull request, however, I would probably take it.
