Do you have the check syntax on save option enabled? This will do a go build which should catch cross-file errors.
It would be great if you could create a gist reproducing this issue so that I can create a test to ensure this scenario is handled as well as possible.

The check syntax option is on.
Trying to create a short simple example that does this, it has happened a couple of times again but I am having a hard time replicating the issue in a short example.
It might be a tool related issue, since syntax errors show up just fine, it is just type errors and errors about unavailable methods and interfaces that go haywire when an unrelated error exists in another file.
Will look into it on my own as well, to see if this is something that can be detected by this plugin. Would help a lot since now I am restricted to going into every single file and clicking save to check which file detects errors and then repeat this until all errors in every file is detected.
Another solution might be to not introduce so many errors, haha, but I am porting a C library and doing a lot of experimenting in different files.

Can you please test this again with Atom 0.117.0+ and go-plus 2.0.0+?

This seems related to #44.
