Not directly. I just tested this locally, and it works: If we change delegate to bind within the plugin, we can then assign a handler via .bind after the .stupidtable call and the event won't fire until after the table has been sorted, because jQuery fires events for .bind in the order they were declared.

See the example.html and stupidtable.js files in the bind_experimental branch. Notice that the "FINISHED SORTING" output always comes before the callback.

I guess we could also just set up the plugin to have a callback function designated by a "callback" option.

I've created a fork of the bind_experimental branch... I've added a callback argument, and replaced the "FINISHED SORTING" console call with this:

if (typeof callback == "function") callback();
