Not sure, I just installed the Kit app so I presume the default mode is what I'm running, whatever that is.

Also, my platform is MacOS v12.0.1 and the app version is 1.7.4

Looks like chokidar will allow me to set:
ignoreInitial: true,
https://unpkg.com/browse/[email protected]/types/index.d.ts#L89
I believe this will solve your issue. Do you agree?
P.S. - Most of my testing with this was done by creating the script first, then the directory/files, so I never noticed this before. Thanks for letting me know. I'm working on getting a new release out in the next couple of days.
