A digital simulation of a family tree based on the quantity of documents in the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) for that last name. Created using Processing software and JSON files from DPLA.

As an exercise for a course ("Web Scripting for Interactivity") I used Processing and java-based code to create an Isochahedron shape that would move alongside the cursor position. The background also moves through an array of colors as a gradient calculation and update.

handwriting-recognition

An original handwriting recognition algorithm created for CS 1332. Can recognize any number within a .jpg file with 70% accuracy. Written in java using IntelliJ.

As a final project for a course ("Web Scripting for Interactivity"), I created a set of illustrations and combined them in Processing (java-based). Each circle within the frame has it's own animation, while the cursor highlights the version of each illustration with color.
