What is the program you are trying to run? It appears to be that which fails:
Command 'MYCOMAND' returned non-zero exit status 1

Its a bash script that runs docker exec to control my docker containers.

Yeah thats the problem.
Docker commands can only be run by the root user..
Thanks for leading me in the right direction!
I will put mqtt-launcher in my docker container to run the commands there.

You should be able to add yourself (well, root can) to the docker group.
