Hi!

LeetCode CodeWars Exercism

My name is Jeremy, I am a software engineer. Most of my time is spent learning all things code 💻, cooking 🍞, cycling 🚲, running 🏃 and going to the seaside 🌊 for a swim 🏊 or countryside 🎄 for a wander 🚶

I am currently working with and learning as much as I can about Typescript, Node, React, Redux, Docker, AWS, Jest, Jenkins, Storybook, GraphQL, CircleCI and many other things. I am learning new design patterns, more about architecture and breaking larger problems down into manageable size pieces.

Prior to working in software I had careers in financial advice and property, I chose to career change and write code for a living as I was tired of filling in monotonous paperwork. I love automating tasks, process improvement, building things, refactoring, writing tests, checking edge cases and making things better on a daily basis. Not having to commute is a huge timesaver and provides a better balance to life.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge as it may help someone else with their learning journey, and holds me to account, my second brain is held in Notion, and is HUGE, please feel free to check for yourself.

Repositories of mine that you may be interested in are TechTests or a project called balanced-money-backend, maybe some Kata or some of the Tutorials i have worked on.

You can find my brag document highlighting some of my achievements at work here.
