Idling more than one game at a time is known to significantly lower the drop rate of trading cards from each game. For some people, prior to Idle Master, it was still viable to open several games at once and let them idle for 8+ hours to get all of those game's trading cards. Since Idle Master moves through each game in sequence, and changes games within 5 minutes of your last card dropping, this a much more efficient method.
