So with the latest version of Chart.js 1.0.1-beta.4 it seems to work! So it wasn't a problem of angular-chart.js I guess.

I just didn't understand why I have to inlude Chart.js twice like that:

That's because you didn't close the script tag correctly for angular.min.js. This works:
