I'm not able to immediately reproduce, so I could use some more info from you.
- I deduce from the log that you're using Julia v0.3.4 on Windows. 32-bit or 64-bit?
- If you open a fresh Julia console and run
include(Pkg.dir("GLFW/examples/callbacks.jl")), what happens? Does that crash too?

I update julia to v0.3.6 and run Pkg.update(), then everything works. I tested these code on Mac10.10 with julia v0.3.4 and the problem didn't reproduce too. Maybe this is a particular case with my machine(Windows64-bit). Perhaps just restart my computer could also fix it.

There are quite a few things, that unexpectedly don't work on some
platforms.
GLWindow.jl https://github.com/JuliaGL/GLWindow.jl should be able to
reliably create a window across platforms.
