"character literal contains multiple characters" error message about julia HOT 5 OPEN

I think this gets parsed as (1')*(;') and then it is trying to finish the character literal

@jariji how does one reproduce the error message you reported? If in the REPL I press Enter after 1';' I don't get an error but a newline, because the expression is unfinished. If I have the line

1';'

in a script and try to execute that I get the error message

ERROR: LoadError: ParseError:
# Error @ /tmp/foo.jl:1:6
1';'
#   
└ ── unterminated character literal

but I never get the error you reported.
