Allow passing a url to be opened when clicking a notification about terminal-notifier HOT 10 CLOSED

This does not appear to be working/functional on my end, when the notification is clicked, it ends up with:

  You can’t open the application “terminal-notifier.app” because it may be damaged or incomplete.

edit i guess this is due to the prebuilt binary I am using (1.3.0)

@bakman2 I’m not sure I follow. If the binary would be damaged/incomplete, then you wouldn't be able to send a notification in the first place. Does it only not work with the -open option?

correct. This is what I issue:

./terminal-notifier.app/Contents/MacOS/terminal-notifier -message "test" -group WATCHDOG -remove WATCHDOG -open http://google.com

Yes, it was introduced in 1.2.0.

Btw, what I meant earlier is if it does work without -open, but with, for instance, -activate instead.

I've redownloaded the binary - it indeed appears that it was corrupted somewhere as it works now. Thanks. Sorry for the trouble.

I had the same issue. The first time I downloaded it, I got the same error popup. 5 min later, re-downloading it caused the error to go away.
