Hi @luguosong, thanks for submitting an issue! To make sure I understand your issue: are you trying to manipulate the DOM by placing something in custom.js? If so, this is still possible given the location of custom.js in the <head> (preceding the DOM) - you will just want to wrap your code in an event listener that waits for the DOM to be ready.
In this case, you will likely either want to look at:
- the DOMContentLoaded event
- the load event
In fact, it's good practice to do this even when your script tags are at the end of your HTML document - since DOM construction can be asynchronous.
