I vaguely remember someone (a developer?) saying that various streamers had made it clear that they didn't want their list of followers accessible to any old Joe for varying - extremely valid - reasons (like viewer theft). I'd have to agree.

That said, I'd love to be able to get that (authorised) list for my -own- streams, even if I can't (and shouldn't) be able to retrieve it for someone else's. A limited-access retrieval would be fantastic.

Are you sure you're not confusing broadcasters not wanting their subscribers to be public information? If it is that, then this is different - followers do not allude to revenue.

To me it makes little to no sense to limit a followers list. You mention viewer theft, how would one go about doing that through a list of followers?

From a developer's perspective, the less things are limited, the broader use the API will have.

You might be referring to this issue, about subscribers. We already have the inverse (channels you follow,) so we should try to get this in too.

I can't find it, but you could do something similar to getting a list of subs.

If it's this commit 15c877b then editors works fine, but Follows returns 404 code for me
