Hi, Developer Assistant works for any app which declares accessibility events. However there are apps (like banking apps and similar) which may hide content from Developer Assistant and any other assist app. I believe you have observed such situation. It can't be improved from my side.
Regarding the bubble button, I would give much for that :) also :) I had hundreds of users requests to open Developer Assistant differently. However it is more a question to Android OS developers, not me. Assist apps can be open in specific ways and what is worse, various manufacturers override default system behavior and customize things like actions invoked when user long press the home button. I believe that even I wouldn’t know how to activate Developer Assistant on any possible Android device, without searching the Internet how to setup assist apps on it :(
