I think this is only an issue if using a portable version of either Firefox or KeePass between multiple machines. Also, the ordering of recent files in KeePass seems rather erratic (although this may be just due to the way I use it while developing KeeFox) so that's not something under my control anyway.
The new option in 0.7.6 to store a fixed database to open, regardless of the one that was open when KeePass last disconnected will probably help to allow users to work around limitations in this area.
Maybe some documentation would still be useful but I don't think any extra information is needed in the add-on interface so I'm closing this ticket.
