This came up and was discussed here #73
A category folder was proposed, but the repository was smaller than it is currently when this issue was discussed and it was decided that adding too many folders to the file structure of this repo would be more of a nuisance than anything else.
Joseph Adams (https://github.com/jcla1) proposed using tags for organization, since that would keep additional directories from having to be added. The participants in the thread, including myself, found this to be a good idea. Kenny also said the tags will help him with the web app.

I agree with @Yonaba, it's now a good time to start adding tag files in the directories.
I've set a pull request (#140) that starts this process off (though I've not merged it yet, incase someone has any objections)

The changes in your pull request look excellent! I'm definitely in favor of merging it.
