Alright, I hate the fact that i keep breaking my promises, but life and school has been so busy for the past month...relationship problems, having to work to pay bills, the whole 9. I'm getting closer to a point where I would actually open source it now, so expect it sometime this month of March.

great idea of having a site.
I know my response is too late! :-(
my question is why you need a site backed by frameworks and dbs?
if you are planning to have static contents (Jekyll), we could use github.io's free hosting and DNS service. I've use the same before and its great. For searching, we could integrate Google Custom Search.
For this, we don't need to move this codebase, we can still have it here and website's code can be put under gh-pages branch. Codebase and website contents remain under the same git repo.
what you guys think about it?
In case you agree, I can help in anyway.
