Frozen & Lagging about spotmenu HOT 2 OPEN

Hey, is the lag similar to issue #47 or is it just a ~1.5 second delay between changing songs in spotify and the menubar to update? If its the latter than thats normal, because the current song playing is checked periodically and the app only checks the current song in 1.5 second intervals to save cpu usage.

The album cover is downloaded from the internet because it cant be retrieved from the Spotify AppleScript API. The delay can be due to connection issues. If you don't have an internet connection then the album art cant even be displayed sadly.

I'll see what I can do about the notification center widget, I havent experienced that, and to be honest I don't use the notification center widget.
Could you explain in more detail what happened precisely with the widget? Did it work then just stopped working? Etc

Hey, yes I think it was, everything is working fine now.

Regarding that issue the notification center widget;

1. I was changing songs and it seemed to freeze on a song the notification centre, but in the tool bar it was fine and changing to the correct song.
2. So I removed it from the notification centre and then put it back in , but still no change.
3. I then uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but that same song was still frozen on the notification centre, the tool bar was fine and continued to change, when I skipped songs.
4. I then shutdown my laptop, turned it back on, got the app running again and the the notification centre widget was fine.
