In Eclipse? There are multiple ways, I prefer: Project Properties->Java Build Path->Link source. Add the folder "src" of client common java.

Had import errors in 3 files in kontalk folder but i resolved them by re organizing import statements from the client common src. Thanx Alex.

ok! But what do you mean with "reorganize import statements" ? That shouldn't be necessary.

It's actually better to use the already configured way of referencing the project in your build path (the .project/.classpath files in git are already configured to do just that, if you keep the original project name). No need to reorganize import statements. If you needed to do so, there's almost certainly something wrong.

I Had some problems when i tried to refactor the name for client common
files so i added a src. infront of all the org.kontalk.client statements
and all the errors went away. but i was reading some blog and found a way
to call the folder without refactoring everything and editing the import
statements and will try it out tonight along with alex's and daniele's
suggestion when i get back and will let you know how it goes. Thanks Guys
