Medicare Claim to 837 EDI about stupidedi HOT 3 CLOSED

Sorry, 005010X223A1 is for institutional claims (837I) which are not supported. I would be happy to accept a pull request that added support -- you could use a lot of the existing professional claims (837P) implementation. It will still be quite a bit of tedious (but not hard) effort.

The 837P implementation is in lib/stupidedi/guides/005010/X222-HC837P.rb. I'd be happy to help you along as needed, if you want to submit a patch. But I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you have the official HIPAA documentation (from wpc-edi.com).

If you're in a bind you could also use the less-granular TransactionSetDef instead of the Guide. This won't provide the same amount of error checking, since the grammar is much less detailed, but it will let you generate a claim:
