Conways Game of Life was created by mathematician John Conway in the 1970's. It is a zero play game that requires a sequence of live and dead cells. Using these cells, a few simple rules will dictate the direction of the games evolution. This game uses a universal constructor (a self replicating machine in cellular automata) much like Alan Turings machine designed in the 1940's.
