This is what I'm doing with Digital Rebar. Or trying to get to run. I'm mostly there.

@galthaus Can you describe a little what your trying to do ?

From our side we would like to check at least once per day all deploy options:

  • 6/7 OS: (Ubuntu 14.04|16.04), Centos 7, RH, Fedora 23, CoreOS, Debian Jessie
  • 2 container engine: docker, rkt
  • 3/4 overlay network: flannel, calico, weave, opencontrail
  • Ansible release: 2.x

which give around 50 differents setup/jobs.

Sorry - missed this.

We are looking to use DigitalRebar to drive kubernetes deployments across bare metal, cloud infrastructures and hosters. (Kubernetes is one of many workloads to drive).

Much like you have listed, I have started importing this playbook into digital rebar.
We can spin up nodes in google, AWS, packet, and bare metal (we have our on provisioner components as part of digital rebar). We can then layer configuration options through our attribute system to choose the other options that you mention.

So, I'm getting close to being able to launch a digital rebar admin node in google and then drive most of those combinations, test them, and run them concurrently.

@jcsirot i think there's only one task missing :

Deploy the kubedns app and browse the kubernetes api using the service name as follows

We need to implement last item :

We should verify resolution and connectivity to https://kubernetes.default.svc.cluster.local. It tests: dnsmasq, kubedns, proxy via kube-proxy to kube-apiserver. It can be done from the host itself. What's really important is to run this test on a non-master node.
