Unable to index an image about elasticsearch-image HOT 4 OPEN

I received the same error on a completely clean install of elasticsearch using the mapping provided in the readme and elasticsearch 1.7.2. Although they received a different NoSuchMethodError, the recommendation from Issue #13 seems to be to down-grade to an earlier elasticsearch version.

You have to use the exact ElasticSearch version that matches the library. For instance, I use elastic search version 1.0, A 1.7 doesn't works.

@kzwang I think I found the cause of this error. In the plugin you're using a constructor for the BytesStreamInput class that doesn't exist in later versions of elasticsearch. For more details about this problem and how could it be solved in later versions please refer to my question here https://discuss.elastic.co/t/installing-elast.... However I wasn't able to make a new version of the plugin. So could you please commit with the suggested changes in the link above so we would be able to install the plugin directly from your git repository. Thanks a lot.
