You have probably received the Email, but in case anyone else is following along the package has now been added: https://elpa.nongnu.org/nongnu/focus.html.

Hi, sorry for a late reply.
Yes, it would be great to see the package on NonGNU ELPA. It is pretty stable, as the only feature I would like to add is currently stuck do to potential performance issues (see #23), so i don't think it will have any notable maintenance cost.
Do i have to add it myself, or is it sufficient to give you my blessing to go ahead?

As soon as the package is added to NonGNU ELPA, the repository is
mirrored onto the GNU server regularly so any changes you make will be
noticed. A new release is made whenever the `Version` tag in the
package header is bumped, so I'd say we could go ahead and add the
package now, and when you address 23, you can just indicate that a new
release should be published.

I can take care of everything. I should just mention that NonGNU ELPA
has a new rules for acceptance[0], but the way I see it they should all
be satisfied in this case.
