This would negate the need for the duplicate files in a different folder problem.

Technically that can be done though personally I wouldn't need it. If it turns out there is strong support for this feature, I'll consider implementing it. Of course, a pull request would also be welcome!

I came here looking for just this feature tonight, trying to convert filenames exported from a CMS to a format I can use with a static site generator. A definite 👍 from me.
