The 2nd project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This application used the web development technique 'pagination' to enhance the usability of a web page. A list with a big number of elements was grouped in 9 elements and these can be displayed via navigation buttons. A search field was dynamically added, which manipulates the original list and the corresponding navigation buttons. Following concepts were applied: Pagination, Event Object, Event listeners, DOM manipulation, HTML elements.
The 10th and last project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This is Full Stack App with React on the client side and Express on the server side. It uses React to implement a client for a school database REST API providing a way for users to interact with this database. A user can create an account and sign in to make changes to the database, which contains information about courses.
The 3rd project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. In this application, JavaScript was used to enhance an interactive registration form for a fictional conference. The application applies conditional behaviour to various input fields, validates user input and provides the corresponding visual indication in real-time. Following concepts were applied: Input validation, Conditional fields, DOM manipulation, Regex, Event Object, Event listeners, CSS basic effects, HTML elements.
The 4th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This web application is a browser-based game, where JavaScript and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) were used. The player has a limited number of tries to guess a random phrase that is displayed on the screen. They can input their guesses via a virtual keyboard that is displayed on the screen or via the physical keyboard. Finally, the web application also provides a 'local multiplayer functionality', where one player inserts the sentence and the other tries to guess it. Following concepts were applied: Object-Oriented Programming, Classes, Event Object, Event listeners, DOM manipulation.
The 5th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This application makes AJAX requests to a public API and handles asynchronous data. The application grabs information about 12 fictional employees as a JSON object from the API and builds an employee directory with it. The application displays the employees in a grid as well as in a detailed modal window with toggle buttons and is also equipped with a search functionality. Following concepts were applied: AJAX, Fetch API, Public APIs, JSON, Regex, DOM manipulation, Event listeners, CSS animations, HTML elements.
The 1st project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This application displays random famous quotes each time a button is clicked and after a predetermined amount of time. Following concepts were applied: Variables, Loops, Conditionals, Object literal, Random number, DOM manipulation, Time Events.
The 7th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This application is a image gallery app built with React as a SPA (single-page application) to keep it fast, modular, and in sync with current web development trends. Following concepts were applied: React Components, React Router, React State, Single-page application, JSX, AJAX, Fetch API, Public APIs, JSON.
The 9th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This is REST API built with Express that provides a way to manage a school database, which contains information about users and courses.
The 8th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This web application is a management system for a fictional local library, which allows a user to list, add, update and delete books from the library's database.
The 6th project on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. This application is a back-end (or server-side) Express server used to display a fictional portfolio site, which showcases the projects I had built so far in my JavaScript Techdegree. It definies multiple routes, renders the corresponding Pug templates passing objects with dynamic data and handles 404 errors and global errors. I also took the oportunity in this project to practice my CSS skills. Following concepts were applied: Routes, Middleware, HTTP requests, Request Object, Response Object, Server, Static Assets, Modularization, Pug Template rendering, CSS Background animation, CSS Hover animation, CSS Flexbox.
This is the Django project I built following along the course 'Complete Python Mastery' from 'Code with Mosh'. To make this project 'more like my own' I added some extra features. Please check the README.md file for more infos.
